Inventory

125 pieces of gold (corrected due to my wrong assumption about the cost of the cards)
66 Staves
200 loaves of bread

(I would like someone to take the role of the paymaster, to handle any need in bread. I will not use the bread at all, but some others may need it. can somone volunteer?)

Quick ledger for reference:
20 gp starting + 20gp from cache + 10 gp for two days of holding mine + 60gp from beggars cup + 90 gp from miser's stash = 200gp

1 card on D1 + 2 cards on D2 + 9 cards on D2 = 12 cards x5 gp = 60 gp

6 shields bought on D3 + 3 swords bought on D3 = 6x1 + 3x3 = 15 gp

So...

125 gp remaining

Yesterday, Lordrichy asked me how to revolt. Please don't do it IG, post in the appropriate forum thread in this forum. Also, when someone defends the power, he or she does not have to do it IG. He or she just has to be at the town he wants to defend and he or she can take whatever action he or she wants. Just post in the appropriate forum thread (Blue team movements) that you want to defend.

Tactics

The situation seems to clear out. We need to build up our defense of Shrewsburry. The reds will either attack there, or build up the forces in Stafford and harass us by claiming our posessions. If they do not attack quickly, we will go to an attrition war, where our advantage of mines will give us the edge. As 3 more agents are moving to the east (Killed, Arthur, Lynna) it is also possible to win this by force. However our main objective is to get the win by claiming all the towns.

We have no clue as to what cards the reds are playing. We have to assume that the independent nodes have enemy forces on them. For that reason, our lower power agents need to stay safe, their role will be greater in the following turns.

I expect to meet with Killed and Lordrichy in two turns in Birmingham. Then we will create a group with a sizeable force and start working on the east towns.

More specifically in Shrewsburry, the enemy has a total of 20FC, which could be augmented by 3x5FC (swords), -1x5FC for us (shields) and 5th column cards, should they decide to move to Shrewsburry. I don't think that they will commit so many forces at once, but should they move there we will have there, tomorrow, when Dewaugh arrives, 10FC agents, 8 FC weapons, -3 FC shields. We can boost the defense with 2x6x 2FC levies armed with staves and play the mercenary for another 4 FC (with staff).

The way I see it, it is 35FC/-5FC (plus cards such as 5th column and levies) vs 46FC/-3FC. Shrewsburry is safe and we should not play cards there now. Our cards this turn should help us build up forces. I suggest playing the beggars cup to get more cash and use it to buy more cards, and leave the Stone Trade for later as we are only going to make 20 out of it.

Teh, LB and the people in Shrewsburry should try to recruit people in groups to defend the power. These people do not have to "waste" their move for the day to defend the power. If, for example, Teh gets 2 1FC individuals in his group and claims, in this forum, that his group is defending the power, I think that TRC is considering all of them to be defending.

No.

All your group members have to post in here that they are revolting. Revolts and DTP aren't 'follow the leader' actions IG.

You can recruit people to play the game. They might not all end up on your team, because of the need to keep things balanced. So far, it's been even in terms of recruiting.

Civvies don't count.
