PostSubject: Take pity on the Arbitor and make his job easier!   Mon Sep 21, 2009 11:09 am

Ok, this shit is driving me nuts. Time for some changes.

-Each team loses 5 points for every person that doesn't have their wargames actions or travel in the forum, even if they are just staying put in town and doing nothing. A few times now I've gotten surprises where people have popped up out of nowhere. You don't post it, it don't happen. Posting your actions by proxy is fine if you can't get to the forum for some reason.

-The only thing I will be tracking is victory points and event updates. I'm setting up new threads to track cards, gold and equipment. It's primarily your responsibility to keep them up to date.

Here is what I need from you guys
-No discussion in the reporting threads!!!!! Too much clutter makes me lose my place.
-Please post the game date when post your purchases, card plays, actions or travel.
-When you buy stuff or assign equipment, please update the list. Makes less work for all of us and keeps it all neat.

I want to see things go like this:

Blue Team has a pretty nice set up that does a summery for each turn, but it's dependent on a single person updating it.

Thanks for helping me out with this. The new system worked very smoothly.

Question: Are we running out of paper at the dateline? Just curious, cause some citizens would like to read about our acts in the Wargames.

Yes, but don't worry, I've got a team of scribes sanding down old books as we speak.

You can also develop the events in RP without waiting for dispatch.

The army battles themselves are pretty easy. The hardest part of that is typing out the different blows, and thats only because I didn't make a tool to do it for me.

The pain in the ass is collating your moves into a single post.

As of this reset, we'll have had what? 6 or 7 army exchanges in 9 days? That's more then England's had in a year.
