plans....?

ok, we need to know what were doing, we cant just run around randomly, anybody got a ny ideas? i have a few but id like to heatr others first.

I will be headed to the Capital today. Will arrive on Monday. We need to come up with some plans here to figure out who can go where and what we are going to do.

Red Team- Incapacitate all the rebels.
Blue Team- Maintain control over 5 towns for two days OR Capture the County Castle

We mustn't lose sight of these

How do we incapacitate? I guess by fighting in towns or patrolling in large enough groups
We also want to capture other resources - start with a goldmine? and a town or two?

oki, hes roughly what i was thinking.

leave a squad at the castle AT ALL TIMES we can tleave it really can we? because id say its easy to take the castle than 5 towns for 2 days.

then we take a hit squad out and try to kill ass many as we can.

our only problem is, it might spread us a bit thin i they all move roudn together.

failing this, we locate there army and fight it straight on.

what u guys think of this?

Nick & I are in Stafford

i think we should send three scouts to Shrewsbury,Lichfield,and Birmingham.One scout to each place to see enemy movement and like thistletumbler said leave everyone else in Stafford.Then attack smaller groups with some people that are in Stafford.then after the smaller groups are gone we pick off the rest by raids and luring people to our army's.

that do you guys think about this plan.

I was going to leave for Stafford after reset unless I'm needed for stat points for the county. Since Shrewsbury is right next door, it's pretty easy to move back and forth.

It might be better to pick a few strategic towns and stick to those so that they can't get their 5 required, as well as the castle.

NickC97 thats what i was thinkig more of, sending out scouts and i would be one of them if you want.

Also, try and dig up the names of the blue team. I've dug up a few already personally. I will add them to the other thread.

No hitlists are permitted I believe. Coventry will be hard to take since a mayor is on blue team, along with Birmingham.


Idea:

Scout out the other team and then set up a quick defense and then send out scouting parties to take towns.

If we get Derby, I can personally try and take Lichfield and then if I fall I can tell you about Stafford and Derby.

Hit lits are simulated for the wargame. If want to use them, you gotta post what your army settings would be in your forum. Otherwise I will assume that you're using friend->enemy with no list.

The IG settings for the army, must ALWAYS be friend->enemy with no hitlist.

5 of your players can start outside of stafford city.

mmm but i think itd be good for evryone but maybe rhen to get there...because f they do attack on lilke the second day, that gives us a big chance of wipeing them out.

I will be one day late then in starting. I must go home to Lichfield in order to finish off my grant for the county.

And I think it would be a bad idea if we didn't leave 5 people elsewhere. What if they hit Derby and Girls needs help? The rest of us will be too far away.

Derby is a cul-de=sac
It might be good to get them trapped there

And I will be in Lichfield to block their retreat.

I honestly don't think they will try to hit Derby. If I were them I would be looking to take towns like Lichfield, B'ham and Shrews. As this would give them a base close to the Capital.

I think we should leave maybe 2 based in the Capital and then send out two squads on patrols to these towns. Remember we have to be careful of them robbing so the more we have in groups patrolling the better.
